The application Management of the Evaluation and Deposit of Doctoral Theses
The application Management of the Evaluation and Deposit of Doctoral Theses allows the members of the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee to undertake the processes of evaluating the doctoral theses submitted by doctoral candidates.
Access to the application
As coordinator of the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee, the Doctoral School has informed you by email that you must review the Research Plan and the Activity Portfolio of the doctoral student and carry out the validation of the doctoral thesis evaluators.
To access the application, click on the link included in said email message.
Who can use the application Management of the Evaluation and Deposit of Doctoral Theses?
This application is intended for use by members of the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee and, more particularly, the coordinator who is responsible for the process of reviewing and evaluating doctoral theses.
Subsequently, at the meeting of the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee, it will approve, if it deems it appropriate to do so, the final evaluation of the Research Plan and the Doctoral Student Activity Portfolio and will validate the evaluators proposed by the supervisor as members of the doctoral thesis examination committee.

The first screen of the application shows Details of the thesis and the Summary of training activities:
First screen Review of the evaluators by the Doctoral Programme Academic Committee.
On the home screen of the application, in the section Summary of training activities, you can consult the Final evaluation of the doctoral candidate.
Click on the blue button to access the usual application in order to carry out the evaluation.
How to validate the evaluators of the doctoral thesis
In the section Proposal for evaluators of the thesis, on the home screen, you will see the position, the name and university/research centre of each member of the examination committee proposed as evaluators of the doctoral thesis on the day of its defence.
Validate or not each of the proposals.
In the last column you will see the buttons Validate / Do not validate.
Evaluation of the proposed list of evaluators of the doctoral thesis.
The information provided cannot be edited, only previewed to help in the decision to validate or not to validate whether this person should take part in the evaluation of the doctoral thesis.
After reviewing the Research Plan and the Doctoral Student Activity Portfolio and when the Status of the evaluators has changed to Validated or Not validated, you must finish the procedure.
Click on Validate and finish in case of approval, or Unfavourable report – Go back to the Doctoral School, if you do not agree.
